The Insurance Partnership was formed in 2001 as an amalgamation of N P McGeown Insurance Brokers, T A Abbotts and Williamson & McClure
The business was established in 1981 by Mr Niall McGeown. The office
has developed into an experienced team providing a strong base of
Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance products. We offer
independent financial advise on investment and protection products
and in addition, specialist pensions advice. For several years we
have acted as independent mortgage brokers and have access to all
major lenders.
Throughout the organisation the emphasis is very much on team work
and delivering a high level of customer service, quality and care.

The company was formed in 1962 by the late Mr. Thomas Abbott
offering a general insurance broker service. Since then the business
has built on its experience and wealth of knowledge to provide a
very comprehensive commercial insurance service looking after the
needs of the business and farming community. The company has always
prided itself on the provision of a high level and quality of
personal service and further supported this with the availability of
personal lines insurance service and independent financial advice.

The business was founded in 1977 by Mr. Conn Williamson and the late
Mr. Ernest McClure and developed a sound business of general
insurance with specialist private car schemes. From small
beginnings, with only one employee in 1977, the business built on
those early developments into a large and very busy office with a
thriving personal lines department. The company can also boast that
many of it’s original customers are still customers today!!
The provision of a commercial department and independent financial
advice, and also the ability to change with the demands of the
customer, has consolidated the service which Williamson and McClure
offers.
